The temple in the background is at Rosicrucian Park in San Jose, and is actually a columbarium.  My old neighbor, Mr Ralph Lewis' ashes are resting here.

Foliage and Topiary

I walk by this house nearly everyday, finally something happened.  The fallen leaves on the near hedge made it work.  Overcast light, small aperture and voila the once a year image.  Pay attention to your surroundings. 

Strollage begins

Strollage is a good walk with an easy camera with an eye on the too familiar becoming known afresh, again.  The places I've walked by often, driven by, off to afar to make photos elsewhere.  Nothing wrong with that, but of late the local talent has shined.
